Netflix Original Series "Love" (*spoiler alert)

Netflix currently released the third and final season for the show this March. The series is set in L.A. and follows Mickey Dobson, an alcoholic sex and love addict, through relationships and relationship missteps. We see Mickey grow and build a relationship with Gus who has his own anger management and self destructing habits. It's funny, and the experiences in the show seem realistic. This, is not a typical romance story the lovable duo hits a lot of snags, bumps, and cliffs along the way. But, it's more about their decision and choice to be better everyday and ultimate decision to work through things together. Even though their path has never been easy, the realization that they make each other better is much more valuable then the potential pitfalls.
The third season is bittersweet, I'm sad to let go of these characters after growing to love them during a rocky start in their relationship. This season the duo travels to South Dakota to visit Gus' family for his parents wedding anniversary. Before the trip Gus seemed to have reservations about how his family would perceive Mickey. Gus makes a comment about analyzing their relationship in four years, as to whether he and Mickey have a future. A fight ensues and Gus says "will you be sober in four years"? To which Mickey is obviously offended. She clarifies that that's not how sobriety works, and declares that all she can guarantee him is that she's sober today, and actively working to be sober.

Gus makes a big apology in front of his family, and tells Mickey about the time he got road rage so bad he got into an accident. He tells everyone about the how the film he recently made bombed. He credits Mickey for being the only good thing going for him since he messes up all his opportunities. Gus, evens admits to messing up his relationship with Mickey by acting like he is perfect and has no issues.

The show is binge worthy because the cast is relatable, they have flaws, and they're not necessarily lovable. They're underdogs that you're not necessarily rooting for.
