Netflix Original Series "Love" (*spoiler alert)

Image
Netflix currently released the third and final season for the show this March. The series is set in L.A. and follows Mickey Dobson, an alcoholic sex and love addict, through relationships and relationship missteps. We see Mickey grow and build a relationship with Gus who has his own anger management and self destructing habits. It's funny, and the experiences in the show seem realistic. This, is not a typical romance story the lovable duo hits a lot of snags, bumps, and cliffs along the way. But, it's more about their decision and choice to be better everyday and ultimate decision to work through things together. Even though their path has never been easy, the realization that they make each other better is much more valuable then the potential pitfalls.         The third season is bittersweet, I'm sad to let go of these characters after growing to love them during a rocky start in their relationship. This season the duo travels to...

Sister Wives

Image
"Sister Wives" is show detailing the lives of a polygamist family who left Utah to avoid persecution to move to Las Vegas. Patriarch Kody Brown and his four wives (Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn) become grandparents in this heartwarming episode. Recently “Sister Wives” shared the birth of the newest addition to their family, grandbaby Axel Brush, with viewers. The episode felt intimate, and I felt involved with the family and invested. Maddie endures nearly a 3 day long labor, and it's hard to see her so uncomfortable and in pain. Early on Maddie makes it clear that during birth the only people in the room should be Janelle, Caleb, and her midwife. On the third day, still not much is happening and Meri has to leave to pick up Mariah & girlfriend Audrey. As soon has Meri leaves for the airport Maddie’s labor progresses rapidly. Upon returning from the airport Meri finds Janelle's family room empty and the house seem to be quiet. Janelle’s bedro...

MTV’s “The Challenge Vendettas”

Coming off the high of last week’s episode, Devin’s grenade fell short. After Tony Raines’ turned the game upside down by voting in Johnny Bananas, Devin used his intellect to send home the biggest male competitor. A major alliance has been broken at this point, and Devin makes a dire mistake, in my opinion, for his game. Devin squanders his advantage squanders his to pick teams for a challenge that relies mostly on strength and endurance. Instead of picking the next strongest competitor for the guys to be on his team, he chooses Brad and Nelson. Brad has been out of the game for a long time. Yes, he has brawn but it’s evident that Zach is the better choice. He’s young, fit, and is more recently familiar with “The Challenge”. Devin obviously chose Nelson because they have an alliance together which is fine, but he should have supplemented his team with Zach’s strengths instead of Brad. Devin’s team loses, because Brad gasses out and so do Kailah and Kam. Overall, he just didn’t make s...
